CoWare Heads to 40th Design Automation Conference with Series of Events Designed to Promote ConvergenSC Product Family

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 28, 2003 - CoWare(tm) Inc. has planned a series of events, from in-depth product demonstrations, a technical paper presentation to a technology breakfast and technology symposium during the week-long 40th Design Automation Conference (DAC). DAC kicks off Monday, June 2, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

In Booth #1952, CoWare will demonstrate its entire ConvergenSC(tm) product family, the electronic design automation (EDA) industry's first system-level design solution using a common infrastructure for both design and verification for SystemC. The integration of the LISATek product line with ConvergenSC will be highlighted, and CoWare will demonstrate how LISATek processor models can be integrated into the ConvergenSC simulation environment. Private demonstrations can be scheduled in CoWare's demo suite #2672.

CoWare's Achim Nohl will present a paper during DAC Technical Session 15 entitled "Instruction Encoding Synthesis for Architecture Exploration Using Hierarchical Protocal Models" Tuesday, June 3, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Anaheim Convention Center Room 209AB. On-site registration for admission to any of the DAC-sponsored programs begins Sunday, June 1. Details can be found at the DAC website located at: http://www.dac.com.

A SystemC Technology Breakfast, hosted by ARM, CoWare and Verisity and titled, "SystemC: It's Real, It's Ready and Integrated Tools are Here," will be held Wednesday, June 4, from 7:30-8:45 a.m. in Room 201C of the Anaheim Convention Center.

In addition, CoWare is co-sponsoring a technology symposium Wednesday, June 4, from noon-2 p.m. in Room 303A of the convention center. The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) will provide details on recent advancements in the standardization efforts of SystemC.
